Jolie coming to Pakistan off-camera!

Angelina Jolie has recently said that she would come to Pakistan for distributing relief goods among the flood affectees but that too, only off-camera. Well, if she wanted to visit the country hidden from the media cameras, why did she declare her trip anyway! Beats me!

Claim to fame—Shoe….

Shoe is fast becoming claim to fame for the shoe throwers. The latest way to get easy fame is to remove a shoe from your foot and throw it on some politician; the higher his ranking in the government, the more fame for you. Make sure that the media is around when you are at it and you might be scolded or even arrested by the cops but later, the media is bound to grab you for interviews! Isn’t it just a great and easy formula for success? That’s wass been happening around anyway!

Dead over flour, huh!

In face of floods, the prices of foodstuff has risen and thus, shortage of the same has become the norm. Though the government has put cheap flour, baison and similar items at the Utility Stores, but is still not able to meet the needs of the masses and an example of the same was reported by the media at Karachi the other day, that two women died in scuffle for Karachi! It’s really sad but true! God help us all!

Tortured for protesting…

In Bahawalpur, the cops have been torturing our youth, students in fact, for the very reason that they were protesting against the ongoing loadshedding. Neither the light cam for 2 days and nor the cops stopped their torture and yesterday was the second day of this all! And here we thought that we were living in a democracy!

But when would the fast break man?

It’s not just the Eid when people of our various provinces have a separate say but it seems that our channels have also gone crazy! In fact, just the other day, the time of Aftar in Lahore at Ary Digital was reported to be 6:44p.m. while the same day, at another channel, the time of Aftar also in Lahore remained 6:59p.m. Whether the channels match their clocks or not, we just want to know when is the fast gonna break anyway!
