Hand over a bucket to Maya Khan!

For Samaa TV’s Maya Khan, tears come easy. She has been anchoring at Geo, ARY, Hum and now Samaa TV, crying at every moment through. There has hardly been an show that she has not cried. If she continues her practice, flood would carpet all the channels on Cable TV, wherever she has been shedding tears. So hey, someone, hand over a bucket to Maya Khan as we cannot afford yet another flood in the country!

Washrooms at Chinese Embassy…

Though situated in the Capital of Pakistan; a Muslim country, the washrooms of the Chinese Embassy are one that cannot be used by the Muslims for there is no muslim shower, lota or even tissue roll for cleaning up, after using the washroom, which becomes really hard for the reporters, when covering some event at the place. Guys, if you can make this change in your washrooms, we folks would really appreciate it! And no hard feelings, hun!

Was the ban worth it?

The government reportedly banned airing of foreign movies in cinemas, this Eid. However, the 5 flicks of Lollywood are still not getting any space as in the Capital, there’s no cinema and at elsewhere, the cinema houses are already booked with other films which is useless as due to the sale of pirated CDs of Hollywood and Bollywood movies, nobody really goes to cinema to watch the same as they can be watched right at home. The ban aimed at reviving Lollywood industry and giving it due space for healthy competition, is a great step on part of our government. But it should be implemented too otherwise the ban in books only, won’t be worth it at all!

What ’bout devils within?

We all know that the Devil is encaged during Ramazan. But hey, what about the devil within? In these fasts, due to the ongoing shifting waves in weather, people are fast becoming intolerant which is not a good thing. This is what the fast is all about; to try to curtail the desires of flesh, mind, body and soul. Few days left for Ramazan to end. So, till Eid, happy fasting and best of luck with your dev.
