Pakistan wants peace in region, says Shujaat

Quetta—President Pakistan Muslim League and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussein has said that Pakistan wants peace in the region.
Talking to local newsmen after offering fateha for the soul of father-in-law of Deputy Chairman Senate Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali, here Sunday, he said that Pakistan has always taken initiatives and practical steps to achieve this objective. General Secretary PML Mushahid Hussein Syed was also present on the occasion. He said that keeping in view the economic, social and changing political scenario of the world Pakistan and India should take serious steps for resolution of all their outstanding issues through dialogue.
Later talking to party workers in PML office, he said that comprehensive recommendations have been given to give relief to poor in upcoming budget. Shujaat said that PML has brought nepotism to an end and has developed a positive political culture.
Online Adds: Pakistan Muslim League(PML) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has expressed the hope that PML and MMA would reach a settlement regarding their coalition government in Balochistan. He expressed these remarks when on his way to Rohjhan Jamali to offer Fatiha on the death of Deputy Chairman Senate Jan Muhammad Jamali’s father in law here on Sunday. While asked about the intensifying conflict among the coalition partners in Balochistan Assembly, he refuted the allegations on the ground that coalition government of Jam Yousaf was facing no problems rather it was continuing as per the expectation of senior leadership.
He urged the party leaders and workers to strengthen the hand of Chief Minister Jam Muhammad Yousaf and that the petty differences must be ignored for the greater benefit that, he said, was to be achieved during the upcoming general elections where PML would give tough time to its opponents. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was accompanied by PML Secretary General Mushahid Hussain, CM Jam Yousaf, Sheikh Jafar Khan MandoKhiel and other senior leadership of PML. Earlier at their arrival at Quetta airport, Central President of Pakistan Muslim League Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and General Secretary PML Syed Mushahid Hussain were accorded a warm welcome by Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Jam Muhammad Yousaf. Chief Minister briefed them about party and political situation of the province.
