2 FC men killed in Miranshah ambush

MIRAN SHAH—Two paramilitary troops were killed and two others injured on Sunday when their convoy was ambushed by unidentified men at Shuhdad Kot, four kilometers west from here.
The local administration confirmed the incident and said that the convoy was on its way from Datakhel to Miranshah when unidentified armed men attacked it from the nearby mountains killing two FC men and injuring two others. The paramilitary troops retaliated the attack and helicopter gunships pounded hideouts of the suspected militants. The security forces and local administration later blocked all the entrance points leading to Miranshah and no body is allowed to enter the area.—Online
